Jo Sigmund Adjunct | Education
Jo has a master’s degree in education, along with over 40 years of experience in the field. She considers herself an “education nerd” and this is reflected in her wide variety of experiences. She has worked with students of all ages, from early childhood through pre-service teachers at the university level and loves teaching at every level. In 2003 she co-founded The Emerson School, a public charter school located in Portland. She currently lives in NE Portland, and loves to spend her free time traveling the world with her partner.
